Edward Debrah

Edward holds two Masters Degrees from two top universities in the United Kingdom. An Oil and Gas Management MBA from Coventry University in England and a Master of Laws Degree LL.M in Business Law and Sustainability from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.

He is a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (FIIRSM - UK); Chartered Member of the Society for the Environment, a Full Member of the Institute of Environment Management and Assessment (IEMA), a Certified Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH - UK); International Membership of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers (CSSE) and American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).

Edward specialises in Quality Safety Health Environmental Sustainability and Risk Management, Training and Management systems, providing cutting edge support for leadership and driving positive change/advocacy in OSH during his spare time.

Currently, he is focused on supporting HSEQ efforts in the Waste Management (Treatment and Transfer Space) in the United Kingdom.

He is passionate about raising the profile of the OSH profession and continues to engage with business leaders, Risk/OSH professionals and stakeholders to drive the Risk/OSH profession forward. He is an Executive Member of IIRSM Ghana Branch. He voluntarily supports young professionals in the United Kingdom, Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Dubai), Nigeria, Senegal, Zambia, Uganda and his home country, Ghana.
